This study is based on Organizational Cynicism and Interactional Injustice as Correlates of Workplace Deviance among Private Company Employees. Two hundred and seventy one (271) employees from seven private companies in Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria, served as participants. They were selected through simple random sampling technique. Their ages ranged from 20 to 58 years, with a mean of 31.70 years and standard deviation of 7.64. Three scales were used in the study. They include 12-item Organizational Cynicism scale, 9-item Interactional Injustice scale and 12-item Organizational Workplace Deviance scale. Pearson Product Moment Correlation Statistics was used to analyse the data. The result indicated that the first hypothesis which stated that organizational cynicism will have a significant positive relationship with workplace deviance among private company employees was confirmed at r (2, 269) = .97**, P<.05. Also the second hypothesis which stated that interactional injustice will have a significant positive relationship with workplace deviance among private company employees was confirmed at r (2, 269) = .98**, P<.05. The study concludes that an increase in organizational cynicism and interactional injustice brings about increase in workplace deviance among employees. It therefore recommends that fair/equal treatment and employer/employee interactions should be encouraged.
